If you think just because UFC 151 was scrapped due to the Jon Jones shit-storm that there isn’t any tusslin’ on this weekend, think again, son. One FC 5 is bringing up the rear, and with the big UFC event canceled, this show could actually do pretty well. After all, there are some nice fights on the agenda. Only problem is the show time is tricky for almost everyone outside of Asia. What a kick in the nuts for the promoter. They scheduled the event for Friday because they don’t wanna be going head-up with the UFC on Saturday, then they get canceled, and now half the world can’t watch their biggest event to date even though it’s the only show on that weekend.

If you are one of the lucky ones who has Fridays off, is unemployed, or are just so captivated by the thought of Arlovski/Sylvia IV that you’re playing hooky, here’s the skinny on the event. You can catch the action at www.onefc.livesport.tv beginning at 8:30am EST. The undercard is showing for free, and the main card is keeping it real at $9.99 – which is worth the price of admission for Sylvia’s fabulous floppers alone. The lineup is as follows, and with Phil Baroni still aiming to be the “best eva,” Jens Pulver’s heart-breaking refusal to hang it up, and what looks to be about 17 members of the Gracie family desperately trying to prove to the world that BJJ is still the balls, it’s a pretty damn good lineup.
