King Mo has been his standard bombastic self lately, pretending everyone in the sport hates him and being outspoken to the point where it’ll probably cost him a job. Here he is talking ever so positively about his organization, Strikeforce:

“I thought Strikeforce was a cancer patient. Man, it’s a damn AIDS patient instead, with [euthanasia activist] Dr. Jack Kevorkian in the background ready to pull the plug,” he said in an appearance on MMA Junkie Radio folowing his first-round KO win.

And here he is commenting on how poorly last weekend’s event did:

“It was a great card that was overshadowed by other things that were going on in the MMA world. I don’t have anything against Nick Diaz. He has to make his money. And with the whole GSP situation and Overeem, no one cared about this card. No one cared until today when we started fighting. I’ll be real with you, though – Vitale Klitchko vs. Adamek probably had more hype than this card.

“The turnout tonight was bad, man. The only people that we here tonight and cheering were Daniel Cormier and I’s friends. They were associates, teammates and people that came in from Texas and Louisiana to support us. You could hear them cheering for us, but other than that? I don’t know man.”

“I don’t know what is going to happen and if they send me to the UFC or whatever. I’m still under the Strikeforce contract, but I’m pretty sure whatever happens to me will be good. People say, “Mo, keep working hard because you are in the D2’s or the B League.” But that isn’t the case. We have people who go over to the UFC and get cut from their contract. Strikeforce has no reason to cut me just yet. They can do that and send me over to the UFC, but I’ll be ready for whatever.”

If Mo keeps flappin his gums like this, I wouldn’t be soe sure ‘whatever happens to him will be good.’ He’s about to work for some people who don’t take criticism all that well. Tucked into the bottom of a Kevin Iole column was Dana White’s thoughts on some of King Mo’s alleged statements:

“If Mo whatever the fuck his name is, or any of those guys, think I planned all this [expletive] this week, they’re out of their minds. Yes, we signed [Alistair] Overeem and made the Brock [Lesnar] fight. Do you think I expected Nick Diaz to pull this shit? We have all kinds of stuff going and I didn’t need this in my life. It is what it is and I never had a thought in my mind of fucking with Strikeforce. But I promote the UFC 24/7.” – UFC president Dana White, reacting to complaints that light heavyweight Mo Lawal made regarding the lack of attention last week’s Strikeforce card received.

So … good things coming up for Mo whatever the fuck his name is?
