Eastern Europe has become the new land of the freakshows since Japan fell apart. Bob Sapp regularly tours the area, offering himself up as a can for local heroes to crush. Former World’s Strongest Man champ Mariusz Pudzianowski has captured the region’s imagination over the past 3 years, going 3-2-1 against competition like Butterbean and James Thompson. Now another strongman, Lithuania’s Robert Burneikas, has just made his debut in Poland.

Remember back in the day when everyone used to think massive dudes would make the best fighters? Yeah, that still seems to be the general consensus in places like this. In theory, size + strength = unstoppable MMA prowess, while in practice it means lack of grace, lack of speed, and lack of flexibility. But don’t take my word for it:

Graceful like a panther.

Burneikas managed to win the fight in the second round via TKO, setting him on a collision course with other freakshow fighters like the Pudz and Bob Sapp. Who just happen to be fighting each other on May 12th! It’s a veritable freakshow division out east!
