A long time ago in a galaxy far far away, frost-tip douchebag Jerry Millen and M-1 Global parted ways due to M-1 downsizing. At first the split was made to sound amicable, but then Millen started muttering something about selling M-1’s video library if he didn’t get paid the money M-1 owed him.
Silly Millen, we all thought. How are you supposed to sell the rights to M-1’s library? Well, it turns out he wasn’t talking about selling the RIGHTS to M-1’s video library. He was talking about the physical library itself, which just turned up on eBay:
Up for bid is 171 large mouth Sony HD Cam 124 minute tapes. These tapes have one pass on them and are in EXCELLENT shape. This is the only complete completion as they are the MATER tapes for M1 Global’s 2008 and 2009 season. These are the only copies in existence, there are no others any where. These are the MASTERS without any copies! You are buying these tapes as one pass stock ties and are only buying the physical video tape itself. This does not grant the license to the footage, but since they are the only MATER tapes:) I am selling these because of non-payment for production costs. Own a piece of MMA history M1 Global’s 2008 & 2009 MASTER library!
These tape retail at $135 each
Winning bidder will get a free autographed FEDOR glove.
These are broadcast format tapes.
I dunno how the legality of all this works, but I hope someone clicks on the Buy It Now button then catapults the entire collection into a moat. Not that I side with Jerry Millen in all this. I just want revenge for Vadim Finkelstein floating the idea of Fedor fighting Kevin Randleman. If I could launch him in a catapult rather than his video library, I would. But we do what we can with the resources available to us.
