Zombie Strippers movie is all about Existentialism

Ya know, I never really got the whole ‘Brangelina’ or ‘Bennifer’ shit that the braindead entertainment media got into. Both of those couples did all sorts of shit apart. But they really should figure out a good snappy nickname for the new Tito/Jenna creature that seems to be together 24/7. Now it looks like Tito is in Jenna’s new movie ‘Zombie Strippers’, which opens mid-April. Here’s the synopsis:

Zombie Strippers is an upcoming 2008 comedy horror film, written and directed by Jay Lee, starring Robert Englund and Jenna Jameson, and distributed by Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. It is based on the French existential Theatre of the Absurd play Rhinoceros by Eugene Ionesco.

Oh, so it’s based on an existential play, is it? Let’s check that shit out too:

Over the course of three acts, the inhabitants of a small, provincial French town turn into rhinoceroses. The play is often read as a response to the sudden upsurge of Communism, Fascism and Nazism during the events preceding World War II, and explores the themes of conformity, culture, philosophy, and morality.

Now from watching the trailer I don’t know if the movie is going to be exploring the same kinds of themes. But who knows, perhaps I’ll be surprised. If you can tie a play about people turning into rhinoceroses to the effect of conformity vs morality, how far off are zombie strippers?
