World Series of Fighting has jacked up prelims

We were mentioning that the World Series of Fighting card was so stacked it was spilling out of it’s NBC Sports portion into it’s prelims. And that was before we got the entire undercard announced. Look at this ridiculousness:

NBC Sports Network main card:
Andrei Arlovski vs. Devin Cole
Anthony Johnson vs. D.J. Linderman
Miguel Torres vs. Marlon Moraes
Gregor Gracie vs. Tyson Steele

Tyrone Spong vs. Travis Bartlett
Ronys Torres vs. Brian Cobb
Gerald Harris vs. Josh Burkman
JZ Cavalcante vs. T.J. O’Brien
David Branch vs. Dustin Jacoby
Waylon Lowe vs. Fabio Mello
Steve Carl vs. Ramico Blackmon

Maybe this is a sign that we’re used to the Krystal Burger sized meat the UFC has been serving us, but this seems like a pretty hearty quarter pounder of beef. Tyrone Spong’s MMA debut is a pretty big deal, and it’s now just part of the free Sherdog prelims stream. Add Ronys Torres, Gerald Harris, and JZ Cavalcante and the prelims could have been a perfectly acceptable main card for WSOF’s second event or something. Instead, they’re dark matches that barely anyone will see.
