Vitor and Wandy coach the first Brazilian TUF

You’ve seen the list of potential criminals TUF Brazil contestants, now check out the coaches: Vitor Belfort and Wanderlei Silva. While the fight between the two will likely be a slaughter on par with the first Vitor / Wand fight, the UFC couldn’t pick a better duo to launch the show in Brazil. Vitor is the Alex Reid of South America based on his relationship with model / tv personality Joana ‘Feiticeira’ Prado. And who doesn’t love Wanderlei Silva? Even being irrelevant and wearing terrible hats hasn’t stopped MMA fans from loving him like 6-year olds love Santa Claus.

    3 things:

with Vitor and the flyweight “it’s totally not a tournament assholes” tournament fighters are having their fights planned out 2 in advance. wonder if Zuffa will start doing that more?

I also wonder if Wand will need subtitles for his portuguese James Toney style

someone is getting KTFO in this one. I’ll give you guys a hint, it’s going to be Wanderlei

I thought they were holding hands.

Fortunately, at least one of them is bound to get injured preventing this fight from actually happening. Otherwise I’m betting the farm on Belfort as Wanderlei is fighting on borrowed time these days.

My favorite thing about this new format is watching the coaches training alongside the fighters.  Really looking forward to this.

Wait Vitor is scheduled to fight Rumble at 142. Have they said Wand and Belfort are fighting or just coaching? Seems odd.
