UFC75 just got a lot more annoying

I’m sure you guys were pretty happy about the news that UFC75 would be broadcast free on SpikeTV rather than PPV. For me, I’m not too happy. The thought of having to sit through hours of commercials for bowflex and fried chicken has me reconsidering my recent decision to stop binge drinking. I swear to god, if your brain isn’t protected by a sheen of alcohol when you’re watching SpikeTV, you are liable to get brain damage.

  • Wu Tang says:

Have to admit though, the card looks more stacked than some past UFC events.

  • jazzn says:

I agree, I’d prefer to buy it than sit through all those commercials.

  • Mike O says:

i’d prefer to steal it rather than sit through those commercials

  • hunt0r says:

Cant agree more about the commercials being both annoying and constant. Id rather pay to be able to see fighters walk in and also post fight interviews.

  • intenso says:

so tivo it and fast forward though the commercials.

  • Teufel says:

Even when you buy the PPVs you’re bombarded with commercials anyway. “This fight is brought to you by Mickeys…” “The fight clock is brought to you by Toyo Tires…” “The wide angle lens provided by Toilet Duck…” Even midway through PPVs they’ve shown extended movie trailers. $40 for a PPV and they waste nearly an hour advertising their sponsors’ various products. The bright side is there’s less time for Mike Goldberg’s incessant rambling between fights… plus it’s… free.

  • Big Fern says:

i hvave to disagree….free is the way to go…dont mind putting up with commercials…or the next morning early enough on youtube!

  • Ryan says:

    Tivo boys and girls.

Also, download the PPV shown in the UK, sometimes you get bonus fights! (e.g. Machida-Heath, Siver-Liaudin)

  • Machida-Heath wasn’t much of a ‘bonus’ per say
