If you missed the final episode of TUF 13 last night, don’t ” target=”_blank”>Rick Flair fan Chris Cope in the second round with a flurry of strikes. Then Tony Ferguson (my early pick to win the show) of Team Lesnar dealt his teammate Chuck O’Neil a 13-minute beating that left no questions about either Chuck’s heart or who had the best striking in the house. Both finalists finished all three of their fights in the house, and were unquestionably the best fighters there, so this should be a decent scrap. Tony in particular looks like he might actually be able to hang in the UFC, though we’ve seen very little of his ground game.
Joining them on the main card are the other semi-finalists Chris Cope vs Chuck O’Neil, while the prelims are filled out by quarter-finalists Shamar Bailey (wrestler) vs Ryan McGillivray (E-Town, represent!), and quarter-finalist Clay Harvison (douchebag) vs prelim-round also-ran Justin Edwards (who?).
More importantly, don’t forget that this card is headlined by Clay “Captain Caveman” Guida vs Anthony “Matrix-kick” Pettis, which was originally supposed to be a title eliminator, but now The Baldfather says probably not. Well that sucks. Anyway, the complete card is below. The main card kicks off at 9PM EST on Spike, but there’s no word yet on whether or not the prelims will be streamed on Facebook, which also sucks cause there’s some decent talent buried in there.
