What a crap headliner, I don’t even know who the 2nd guy is…

Grove looks funny in that picture.

  • Razzle says:

Why are they even on television?

  • P W says:

I thought Bonnar had retired/was fired (as a fighter) from the UFC, and rightfully so. I have never seen that other dude before.

  • Bojo says:

Hopefully Pokrajak is decent and lights Bonner up!

  • fightlinker says:

He’s supposed to be but hasn’t really showed it in the UFC yet. I guess Dana is hoping Bonnar recreates some magic, but ya can’t go back in time man.

  • agentsmith says:

No kidding, Maia vs Grove is more deserving of main event status than this one.

  • frickshun says:

^^They must still be punishing Grove b/c that is most definitely the main attraction.

I love MMA. I’ll watch K1 at 5 in the morning. I’ll watch Sengoku and Dream. I’ll try to watch frickin Jungle fights.

    I wouldn’t watch this card.

    Fuck this shit.

  • Schrute Boxe says:

    …but you will

  • P W says:

Just like how the main event of a PPV has gone from “title fight” to “top contender” to “any semi-popular fighter in random meaningless match”, the caliber of the TUF finale headline fighters has gone from “upper echelon” to “solid mid-card” to “dark match”.

  • frickshun says:

A “dark match” would be Rodney Wallace vs Jon Jones. Just sayin’s all.

  • glassjawsh says:

TUF Finale main events: Franklin v Shamrock,Sanchez v Diaz, Florian v Stout, Lytle v Serra, Pulver v Penn, Huerta v Guida, Tanner v Grove, Nover v Escudero, Guida v Sanchez, Jones v Hamill, Hamill v Jardine, Bonnar v Pokrajac

this isn’t even the WORST TUF finale main event (that honor would go to TUF 8), at least this one is headlined by someone you’ve heard of before (and not a tuf contestant)

  • P W says:

Man, I totally forgot that the headline fight used to be the between the coaches.
