Tito Ortiz is on the edge

Nothing like a bit of sucking up before a ‘must win’ fight:

UFC president Dana White, who re-signed Ortiz in July 2009 after a long and public feud, said the fighter is in a must-win situation despite his star power.

“It’s not about that,” White said. “Obviously, we’re in the pay-per-view business, but this is a real sport. Tito’s lost three of his four [most recent] fights.”

Anyone else get the feeling that the UFC would be perfectly okay with cutting Tito loose now that it’s been confirmed that they’ve destroyed him as a draw? It’s a bad time to be a guy making a quarter mil per fight, and that doesn’t include the PPV cut Tito makes when he’s the main or co-main event.

Wow. He’s a bigger pussy than the one in his wife’s pants.

That shirt just might keep him from getting dropped by the UFC after this fight.

Joon4s come on, try harder than that.

Tito looked pretty dreadful. I was prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt if he’d actually made gains physically but he looked really slow and stiff after his opening salvo.

But the thing is, he’s been competitive this whole time. He hasn’t been very exciting but the only man to stop him in the last decade is Chuck Liddell (even if it was twice). He very nearly tapped Machida, would’ve won the Rashad fight if not for the (deserved) point deduction and the Griffin fight was close. He’s been losing, but he’s a tenure guy and he’s still competitive.

If the UFC cuts him I won’t be surprised but if he gets another fight also, I can see it happening.

I don’t know who this Tito Ortiz character is. But he should really continue making those really creative shirt idea he stole from Mayhem Miller.
