The Low Blow Episode 196: Ultra Patriot Edition Deluxe

This week on the Low Blow, Ryan has a dream about Ronda Rousey, we review Brett Rogers’ latest fight, and there’s an itty bitty more discussion about Nate Marquardt. UFC 132 gets discussed from neon green end to neon green end, from the Urijah faber / Dominick Cruz decision to Melvin Guillard’s resurgence. Wand retiring, Condit amazing, and Tito staying alive. All this in 76 minutes of Low Blow goodness.

Ryan sounds like he has a lisp like a gay.

  • Mixed Martial Adam says:

As an audio professional – Ryan your new headset sounds like shit. Really shitty. Like 90’s car phones shitty. Unfortunately it’s the quality of the microphone range and not the reverb in an empty room. I’m sure that when you play the radio show back you’ll hear the audio difference between this week and last week.

Take the headset back (if you can) and if you need recommendations for cheap headsets with maximum quality let me know and I’ll give you very affordable some options. Otherwise go back to the old mics/headsets – they sounded significantly better.

BTW – sorry for razzing you about when you asked for Kenny Florian Interview Questions (in the comments section). I’ll certainly do it again, and again – but sorry this time! Just having a laugh as there aren’t many fighters that have been shit on more than Kenny, but it seemed to be a hot button issue with you on last week’s radio show. No hard feelings man – keep the interviews coming, it’s appreciated!

  • McBayne says:

only w/ drunk canuck scoring could Faber had possibly won that fight.

Agree that Wand not making it out of the first minute sucks and he’d be fighting one more had it been Leben UD or something.  On that same note, gotta think Tito will get a two loss leash from winning that way under those circumstances and won’t be on chopping no matter how his next fight (a/k/a loss) goes.

  • Blackula Jonez says:

If knockdowns mean you are winning then Daley was winning the round against Diaz and Pat Barry was on his way to a 10-4 round…until they both got knocked out.

  • frickshun says:

Good show. I guess. Love you. Bye.

drunk ryan is the only ryan i will accept on any podcast from here on out

  • kvelertak says:

Wanderlei getting retired has more to do with his 200,000 price tag than his chin.

Dana is a businessman hiding behind a caring face for the top earners.
