Steve Cantwell not well?

The latest fight hit by the UFC gypsy curse is Steve Cantwell vs Vladamir Matyushenko due to a mystery issue with Steve Cantwell. While Dana White made headlines on Wednesday by telling reporters at A UFC 108 press conference that Cantwell 'has medical problems and may never fight again' (a line that's becoming unfortunately familiar lately), a day before that comment Steve's management was actually refuting his removal from the card:

“Steve Cantwell is not officially off the card. There has been a minor issue and we hope it will be resolved in the morning. Steve is still training and preparing for the bout. As always, special thanks to Steve’s sponsors Jaco, Silver Star, GammaO, Hayabusa and Punch Drunk Gamer.”

I'm not about to start 2010 off with random speculation on a fighter's potentially career ending condition, but you don't have to be Sherlock Holmes to narrow down the issues to a number of shitty possibilities.
