Not too shabby!

As promised, there’s a ton of kickass pics from the Strikeforce event this past weekend up at I’ve put some of my favorites after the jump, or you can just go to their website and dig through all the great pictures.

This’ll be the last post regarding that show, so soak it up!

Dana White says “MMA isn’t popular, the UFC is popular” … you know, I never really realized how insulting that was to the sport of MMA as a whole until just now. Good thing he’s wrong. A good promotion doing good shows with smart cards will do well. End of story.

This is what you get for standing with a striker like Cung Le: broken limbs.

  • stink47 says:

why doesn’t he call himself Cung Lee? All these headlines starting “Le” look like they’re in French

  • cyph says:

…because his last name is Le? Sometimes you just can’t pick what your last name will be spelled like.

  • JYAG says:

because his name is “Le” and not “Lee
    you’re a douche bag

  • I’m pretty sure his last name is some kind of funky Vietnamese symbol. Maybe the VN don’t like the Lee name because they don’t want to be mistaken for chinese (yeah, they all hate eachother)

  • Dukes says:

Shoot, you know “Mirko CroCop” ain’t on his birth certificate! Cung Le should call himself something like “Rick Diamond” – something so not connected to his heritige.

What happens when he fights someone that can take him down?

  • RL Dookiefuck is RIGHT! says:

OMG he should call himself Bruce Le

  • x5BoltMainx says:

Mario Yamazaki looks cool as ice in that pick.

    Is he getting wood?

  • cyph says:

The Vietnamese language uses roman alphabets, Fightlinker. It’s not ganji. =)

  • kentyman says:

Lê is the fourth most common Vietnamese surname.

    cyph, you’re thinking of Kanji.

  • maafaka says:

dont get too eXCited, ladies…Frank [as the eXCellent businessman that he is] voluntarily lost this one to set set up an even more juicy rematch….
    and i mean that…
