Nate Diaz wantsssss Tysssson Griffssin

If you were hoping that the whupping Kurt Pellegrino put on Nate Diaz right up until the last 10 seconds of the fight would humble him a bit, you were wrong. Nate went right back into lisping smack talk mode after the fight, calling out Tyson Griffin again:

“That guy doesn’t want to fight me because he thinks he’s somewhere higher up than me? I just beat a guy that’s better than him. When was the last time he finished a fight anyways against any 155 pounder that was half decent on the ground..oh yeah never.”

Pretty much everyone coming out of Cesar Gracie’s school hates Tyson Griffin for jumping camps from Cesar’s to XTreme Couture, so it’s understandable why Nate continues to call him out and Cesar continues to publish the call outs. I’m sure if Tyson and Nick had their way they’d be facing off with eachother in their next fight, but I doubt the UFC is gonna put this fight together for a while. At the moment, the feud will create a little pop with hardcore fans, but if they let it stew for another year or so it should make for a very marketable fight.

It’s weird how at Cesar’s school you have David Terrell, who’ll find a reason NOT to fight anyone, and then the Diaz brothers, who’ll fight anyone.

  • Terrell would have fought, just not for the money he was being paid. It’s like a superhero team thet all have special pseudo-douche powers: Terrell is Injury man, Nate Diaz is Trash talk man and Nick is Medically Suspended Man

    Trash-mumble Man, you mean?

i have no idea if that means what i think it means. i’m sure there’s some enzymes in there.

Nate’s right about that. Has Tyson finished anyone since he dropped Urijah Faber?

Tyson is the 155 lb. version of Karo “the decision” Parysian. (minus the most recent fight where karo got kneed in the face.)

    Tyson “3 rounds” Griffin

He needs to fight somebody like Griffin until I’m gonna be impressed by him

You can he is mumbling right in that pic, his tongue is halfway out of his mouth. I’d almost rather listen to Matt “Bring the Noise” Hamill quietly bark.

this wouldn’t seem to speak very highly of the training he got at cesar’s…

  • I just love how cesar is a hothead shit talker too. Half the news on GracieFighter.com is smacktalk. After Frank Shamrock and Mac Danzig, I think he’s the third honorary jackal

Or conversely, he hasn’t finished anyone since he left for Xtreme Couture.

I seriously I can’t understand all the hype surrounding Tyson Griffin, he’s just so fucking boring to watch and still almost everyone seems to have their tongue stuck up his ass.
On the other hand, that triangle choke that Nate caught Pellegrino in was just too fucking awesome (and yeah… showmanship does count). I’ve jumped on board of the Nate Diaz bandwagon, and I’ll predict that if they fight Nate will dry hump him from behind while he chokes him.

  • airipsus says:

did you expect anything less from Nate.the guy has worlds of experience.he’s been in that spot thousands of times.not the triangle but having another mans face against his balls.you saw how happy he was.I bet he shot a little load there inside his cup.
