Being Monte Cox must fucking suck … he seems like the last person to find out EVERYTHING regarding Fedor:
M-1 President and CEO Monte Cox, however, was adamant that the Russian superstar is still a part of his promotion. “As of right now, M-1 Global and Fedor are still working together,” he told MMAWeekly.com.
Cox declined to comment about the ESPN article, but said M-1’s plans were still underway for its first event on American soil, a June 14 card at the Sears Center in the Chicago area, still expected to feature Emelianenko. The show has been rescheduled from a May 3 date at the Allstate Arena, also in the Chicago area.
You know, maybe I’d be inclined to believe Cox if he was actually willing to comment on the ESPN article in question. Ya know … say something as to why Fedor’s agent would go on record with someone like ESPN and make that kind of statement? Oh, and you know what else would have helped his credibility? If he wasn’t CONSTANTLY WRONG ABOUT EVERYTHING LATELY.
So here’s the deal: If you want to bet on Fedor staying with M-1 Global, then I advise you NOT to sign up with BetUS even though it helps support Fightlinker. Because you’re obviously not capable of the kind of critical thinking that will keep you from losing all your money.
