Monte Cox: Duh, ESPN is wrong

Being Monte Cox must fucking suck … he seems like the last person to find out EVERYTHING regarding Fedor:

M-1 President and CEO Monte Cox, however, was adamant that the Russian superstar is still a part of his promotion. “As of right now, M-1 Global and Fedor are still working together,” he told

Cox declined to comment about the ESPN article, but said M-1’s plans were still underway for its first event on American soil, a June 14 card at the Sears Center in the Chicago area, still expected to feature Emelianenko. The show has been rescheduled from a May 3 date at the Allstate Arena, also in the Chicago area.

You know, maybe I’d be inclined to believe Cox if he was actually willing to comment on the ESPN article in question. Ya know … say something as to why Fedor’s agent would go on record with someone like ESPN and make that kind of statement? Oh, and you know what else would have helped his credibility? If he wasn’t CONSTANTLY WRONG ABOUT EVERYTHING LATELY.

So here’s the deal: If you want to bet on Fedor staying with M-1 Global, then I advise you NOT to sign up with BetUS even though it helps support Fightlinker. Because you’re obviously not capable of the kind of critical thinking that will keep you from losing all your money.

  • Schifftis says:

Anyway of getting you guys credit, if I already have a BetUS account. I have had one for a while.

  • Shit, you mean Monte’s always wrong? He introduced me to Kim, and advised me to quit the UFC…

  • Xavier says:

Meanwhile, the Americans are not at the airport, Monte Cox’s forces are holding out and have repelled the infidels in a sea of their own blood.

  • asa says:

Let’s all remember that this is the PR innovator who runs Tim Sylvia’s negotiations. He knows Fedor’s agent didn’t really mean that. It’s just a quote taken out of context. “Divorce proceedings” doesn’t mean anything bad. Ryan’s just trying to ruin Monte’s company and taking everything out of context.

  • dignan says:

I just don’t understand how anyone trusts a fat tub of lard in a suit when it comes to anything.

When someone doesn’t have their own life together, how can you trust them in any other decisions?

  • I dunno, I know a lot of rich, successful fat guys. When you’re really rich and successful, you still get the hot bitches. Because you can afford them.

  • Xavier says:

“I just don’t understand how anyone trusts a fat tub of lard in a suit when it comes to anything.”

Aren’t you the one that drinks the pee?

  • dignan says:

    Me drink pee? That’s unpossible.

You must have me mixed up with someone else.

There are a ton of fat rich guys…they got that way by fucking everyone else over. Gluttony.

  • ajadoniz says:

you know what would be delicious? Say the UFC gets a hold of Fedor and then decides to screw over Randy by continuing the lawsuit and blackballing him. TAKE THAT, RANDY. YOU JERK!
