Just to prove that the world has turned completely upside down injury wise, Gilbert Melendez vs Josh Thomson 2 seems like it will actually happen this December 19th. This fight unifies Strikeforce's real and interim lightweight belts and marks the resolution of a match-up I stopped caring about the seventh time it was announced and then delayed due to various Thomson injuries. Okay, maybe I still care about it a little.
