Matt Lindland and the missing weed

Your strange MMA related lawsuit of the week:

In a suit filed March 3 in Multnomah County Circuit Court, plaintiff Gonzalo Aldana Gamboa claims Lindland offered last year to let Gamboa grow pot under the Oregon Medical Marijuana Program on Lindland’s property in Eagle Creek.

According to the lawsuit, Gamboa registered the grow site with the state of Oregon and harvested six mature plants last October. Lindland helped load the plants into a U-Haul truck and told Gamboa he was moving them to his shed to dry, the lawsuit says. But when Gamboa returned a month later, Lindland would not allow him to collect his harvest, the lawsuit says.

I’m not so interested in how the lawsuit turns out as much as what happened to all the weed…

This is encouraging. But I still can’t like Matt Lindland.

Fucking pot ninjas. It’s the Japanese.

  • Reverend Clint says:

probably gave it to some of Chael’s property buyers to sweeten a deal

  • Take It Easy says:

    never trust a smelly man

  • Mixed Martial Adam says:

I love the fact that a staunch republican and former politician is caught stealing weed. I wonder how Chael feels about this one? This actually makes me like Lindland a little more, though muscling an unhealthy man out of his medicine is pretty weasly.

And side note – the plaintiff states that the six plants had a value of over $100, 000. Each plant would have to be the size of a 1 ton truck to even approach that value, and that would be selling it on the street at $40/eighth.

Next time rent your own uhaul at the harvest

  • G Funk says:

A Uhaul for six plants? Were they trees? Sounds funny…

  • Mixed Martial Adam says:

^^You would need a uhaul sized area to dry the plants. Everything has to be picked and hung on lines, so you would need a decent sized space for six plants as that’s still a fair amount of weed once it’s picked

  • G Funk says:

True grower scholars minimize space with ventilation. And drying your herb in a uhaul truck soundz dumb.

  • CAP says:

I always love the insanely exaggerated “street value”.

  • Reverend Clint says:

people here transport with uhauls but drying in one sounds dumb

  • frickshun says:

Fucking pot scholars…..I haven’t smoked in a decade!!

  • Grappo says:

swayze train’s coming with us gentlemen

  • Mixed Martial Adam says:

If you don’t have anywhere else to dry and you get a uhaul with some air vents there’s nothing dumb about it all (other than having a uhaul parked on your property that would reek like weed anytime someone got within 5 feet of it). In terms of quality, it’s the same as drying in a shed or garage, but you’re renting a temporaty space instead.

I’ve been in houses where people are drying in the basement and the whole house is engulfed in a weed vapour. It is the strongest smell ever for about a week – even with proper ventilation running around the clock. Anyone setting foot in the house would know immediately that there was weed in the building. Therefore a uhaul would do a decent job if you had a big property.

Next time just don’t use Matt Lindland’s uhaul.

  • CAP says:

If I found a U-Haul full of weed. I’d steal it too.

  • Mixed Martial Adam says:

^^especially if you were a professional fighter stealing it from someone in a debilitatiing medical condition.

    Amen!

  • Reverend Clint says:

im curious what this guy was afflicted with? Probably some stupid shit like chronic ass pain

  • Take It Easy says:

lindland just wanted to live in the truck for a few months to add a new smell to his repetoire

  • G Funk says:

Adam has dumb friends. Get a carbon filter jackass!
