Massive changes to TUF 8 revealed

After weeks of anticipation leading up to the latest season of the Ultimate Fighter, the changes promised have finally become clear. Challenged with keeping the TUF concept fresh after jamming so many seasons into such a short time frame, the UFC has hit this one out of the park by introducing stunning new burgundy jerseys.
Watchful fans noticed the potential color change from the event graphics leaked on Spike’s website, but it wasn’t until all the fighters had arrived at the TUF gym that it was clear: Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira’s team would be wearing a glorious burgundy rouge.
“We really wanted to hit this season out of the park,” said Dana White, owner of the UFC and co-producer of the series. “Last season we introduced the concept of an extra fight to earn your way into the house. This time we knew we had to raise the bar again with something just as drastic.”
Many of the TUF contestants were shocked at the surprise jersey change. “How are you supposed to feel like a warrior when you’re wearing such a fruity red?” asked Lance Evans, the brother of UFC contender Rashad Evans and one of the fighters who was eliminated in the first episode. “I got kicked sorta hard in the rib and thought ‘Well, I can stay here and risk having to wear that dumb jersey for a few weeks or quit and go home to eat spam and cheese.’ I love cheese, so the jersey thing made my choice even easier.”
Dana White promised that this was only the tip of the iceberg and there would be more changes in store, including a surprise ban of hair gel and other salon items. “Wait till you see how these guys react without their grooming products!” cackled White with glee. “Best season of the Ultimate Fighter, ever.”
