Toronto, Ontario – Emmerson Services announced today that the full service funeral home has entered into a partnership with UFC featherweight athlete Mark Hominick.
Hominick, the #1 contender for the featherweight title, will take on current champ Jose Aldo at UFC 129 on April 30th at the Skydome in Toronto, Canada. The Thamesford, Ontario native, who fights out of London Ontario, has put together a 20-8-0 record throughout his mixed martial arts career.
“I am very excited about this partnership with Emmerson Services,” said Hominick. “Everyone deserves the best care after death and Emmerson has a stellar track record of providing all the services a family could need in the event of a loved one passing on.”
As part of the partnership, Hominick has been put through the Emmerson Services Devoted Exequies Plan, their standard plan designed to give families a complete and affordable option for preparation and internment. Mark has been carefully measured for both burial clothing and coffin size, and his cornermen will walk to the cage bearing a selection of Emmerson’s signature urns.
“We at Emmerson hope to show off our devotion to quality care and Mark was excited to show that pre-planning is the best option when preparing for the passing of a loved one. While some funeral homes would struggle to find a suitable coffin for one of Mark’s size, our wide selection of on site Youth to Teen Tragedy Caskets™ means never having to wonder if the beir of your choice will look the same at your funeral as it does in the catalog.”
Don’t forget to join Mark at his Official UFC 129 Afterparty, held at the Emmerson Services building a convenient 10 minute walk from the Skydome.
“The belt may not be present but as Emmerson Services says, being prepared for the inevitable prepares loved ones for the inevitable,” said Hominick’s trainer, Shaun Tomkas.
