Ken wanted more money

Oooh, just what EliteXC needs: more controversy!
In this week's Wrestling Observer, Dave Meltzer reported that Ken Shamrock was extremely pissed that Kimbo Slice was making a considerable amount of money for the fight, made an attempt before the show to get a large undisclosed amount.
While blowing off some steam after being denied the extra money, Shamrock started rolling around and end up getting cut, thus, forcing him to withdraw from the main event.
Not only does this add to the fishy factor already swirling around the situation, but it also brings up new questions regarding EliteXC's honesty. Several outlets asked Jared Shaw if Ken had asked for more money before the fight and Shaw flat out said no. While I certainly do understand WHY he lied, it doesn't change the fact that it was a lie and that he'll lie when it suits him. Awesome.
