Jews go to Hell

As mentioned previously, Matt Hughes and his co-writer are in the middle of a book tour that’s taking them across all the ignorant bible thumpin’ regions of America and beyond. They’re also blogging the experience over at Matt Hughes site, but there hasn’t really been anything worth noting … until today that is. Here’s a little excerpt from Michael Malice, who past being a guy who doesn’t think much of MMA fan’s literacy rate also happens to be Jewish. Note this heartwarming exchange about how that played out.

One question my friends would have for me is whether the fact that I am Jewish and Matt is a Christian was ever an issue working together. The answer is that it has been 100% positive. As a writer, you should always try to see past what someone is saying and hear what it is that they are meaning. One of Matt’s close friends admitted he hoped that I found Christ on this book tour. To him, Christ is the way to eternal happiness and salvation in Heaven. For someone to wish that I find eternal happiness is perhaps the most benevolent statement possible, even if his wording might be a little unusual to someone from a different background.

Oh, I agree: it’s always nice when someone wishes you to have eternal happiness. But it’s not so fucking nice when it’s a conditional eternal happiness, and if you don’t meet that condition you don’t get salvation. And hey … if you’re not saved, where do you go? Fucking hell. And you burn forever like the goddamn heathen Jew sinner you are.

That’s always been a big rub for me and religion … how can anyone support something that condemns so many people to something as horrific as hell? I’d like to think that any God out there isn’t going to give a shit if I’m a Jew or a Christian or a Muslim or a Pastafarian for that matter. I figure when I die I’m gonna meet him up at the gates of wherever and he’s gonna say “Well Ryan, you were a good guy and you did a lot of good things. Since I’m not an egotistical asshole, I don’t mind that you didn’t believe in me, because you followed the tenets of what I was all about. Actually the fact that you did this on your own and not because of the whole bullshit heaven/hell reward/punishment thing makes you even better than everyone else.”

And then we’d high-five, drink some beers, and hit the strip club.

Fucking A!

I couldn’t care less what Matt Hughes thinks. Especially about Jews. (I’m Jewish)
Also, I agree completely with the last paragraph.

Um…if you subscribe to the fairy tale about Rabbi Jesus, aka Christianity, the FOUNDING TENANT…let me repeat the FOUNDING FUCKING TENANT is that you are only saved and floating in clouds when you die IF and ONLY IF you accept Rabbi Jesus as your “lord and savior”. In other words, christians believe jews go to hell (accept for those “Jews for Jeebus” or whatever). Some christians are not as vocal as others on this jews-in-hell issue, some are in flat out denial about this clause, but as hateful as it may sound, there is nothing wrong stating that jews go to hell in context with christian dogma.

As somebody who thinks the world would be a better place if EVERYBODY quit wasting their time with fairy tales about cloud men, I LULZ at Matt Hughes, who personifies your typical evangelical Christian, by that I mean he is a selfish, despicable human being.

  • atom says:

I’m not sure why/how it affects me if Matt, or another evangelical believes I’m going to hell. I’m more concerned with their actions.

Think evangelicals are funny? Watch Jesus Camp.

  • Accomando says:

“…And you burn forever like the goddamn heathen Jew sinner you are…”

Actually, many Evangelicals view the current time period as the “last days” and they are very vocal in their support of Israel and the part it plays in the “end times.” Here is the new schtick…

“…The Bible commands us to pray for the peace of Jerusalem (Psalm 122:6), to speak out for Zion’s sake (Isaiah 62:1), to be watchmen on the walls of Jerusalem (Isaiah 62:6) and to bless the Jewish people (Genesis 12:3). These and so many other verses of the Bible have one overriding message– as Christians we have a Biblical obligation to defend Israel and the Jewish people in their time of need…”

    Defend Israel from what religion?

Again, I think all religions are abused by those who are in charge of them, however, there is only one real dangerous religion left that everyone is scared to talk shit about or draw cartoons about cause their pussies. I guess hurting a persons feelings is worse than decapitating someone in the name of religion.

Word of warning about JC: he ALWAYS “forgets” his wallet when we go to the strip club.

  • FTRO says:

    Accomondo,

The only reason that christian fundies care about israel so much is that their myth dictates that israel is the landing strip for Rabbi Jesus’s 2nd arrival on earth. Otherwise they would not dip their wick in such a evil place full of them hellbound jews!

  • Accomando says:

    FTRO,

The point was that Israel and Israeli’s are not in the least bit concerned about christian fundies, they pose NO threat at all to the Jewish people or their state.

The Jews are only REALLY worried about 1 ideology/religion and we all know what religion that is.

    Nazis.

  • Accomando says:

Asa, don’t be stupid, yeah, there tons of Nazi’s in Lebanon, the West Bank, the Gaza strip, Jordan, Egypt, Syria, yeah, the Jews are worried about nazi’s nowadays, idiot.

  • it’s kind of ironic that the place jewish people set up to be safe from racism and hatred is one of the few regions in the world where they really get a full dose of it on a regular basis. That’s why there’s so few people immigrating to Israel nowadays … who wants to live in a place where on any given day some insane muslim country could drop a bomb on your head?

  • demonianray says:

    Hallelujah, motherfuckers!!!
I agree with u 100%, if theres any god he’ll accept me for all the good things ive done, regardless of my mistakes, if i deserve hell according to christianity or any other religion, then thats why i think all those stupid religions are a bunch of selfish motherfuckers, especially God as they describe him.

  • Accomando says:

“…That’s why there’s so few people immigrating to Israel nowadays…”

Israel complains about the “brain-drain” with their intellectuals leaving the country all the time. I concure wiith you assesment, you can’t really blame them for it.

  • Throken says:

Linker, speaking of strip clubs, I’ve heard that Montreal has the best in North America. That true?

  • I haven’t been to enough outside of montreal to really say, but I have no complaints re: montreal. Relatively clean, non smelly, no nasty old cougars. 10 dollar lapdances and of course montreal is ‘contact legale’

  • Atom says:

“it’s kind of ironic that the place jewish people set up to be safe from racism and hatred is one of the few regions in the world where they really get a full dose of it on a regular basis.”

The jewish people didn’t really set up Israel. It was created by the allies after WWII

“Asa, don’t be stupid, yeah, there tons of Nazi’s in Lebanon, the West Bank, the Gaza strip, Jordan, Egypt, Syria, yeah, the Jews are worried about nazi’s nowadays, idiot.”

While jews in Europe and Asia might face more of a threat from Islamic extremists, I don’t think thats the case in North America.

  • Asa says:

The point was that any religion that claims to be right and has shown a high tendency for violent righteousness is a threat the nation of Judea or any other religion.

Or maybe I can work These computerized keyboards you people have these days and not know what century it is. Yeah, that was the more intelligent deduction.

  • Brad says:

    I agree with this http://www.godandscience.org/apologetics/hell.html

If people don’t want to believe in god or any of that shit than don’t believe in it. I just don’t see the point of people going out of their way to offend people who do believe in that stuff.

If you don’t believe what they believe then why would you give a fuck who they say would go to “hell”?

  • Because I like pointing out how fucked up their religion is for damning a large portion of the earth to eternal damnation, all because their God is a fucking jealous bitch

  • FTRO says:

“God and Science”, an oxymoron that puts all others to shame.

Thanks for the link, I haven’t seen such a pathetic attempt at pimping the Rabbi Jesus fairy tale under the guise of science since sleeping through a lecture on the design argument back in catholic school (now rehashed to you sheep as “intelligent design”). Amazing that such insipid pablum is deemed by many to be a legitimate argument to actual science and somehow should convince us that a cosmic jewish zombie took a bullet for humankind because a man formed from a lump of clay and a woman formed from his rib decided to add more fiber to their diet and consume an apple.

  • Accomando says:

“…The jewish people didn’t really set up Israel. It was created by the allies after WWII…”

That was only possible due to the fact that Jews from Europe in the late 1800’s started moving back to the AREA called Palestine. Palestine was never a country and the “palestinians” were never a “people” they are also a modern creation. The zionist movement back to Israel began way before WW 2.

  • Accomando says:

    “…back in catholic school…”

I was going to ask what your issues were, but this line explained everything.

  • FTRO says:

Issues? There are batshit insane elected leadership who believe the world is going to end in the next 50 years just because a fairy tale book says as much – and then there are those who condone such beliefs as nothing to worry about. Those are people with issues.

  • islandguy says:

Dear linker… it is obvious to any 5 year old that you are toast when it comes to the outcome of your eventual meeting with Him.. so let it all hang out. Have as good a time as possible is my suggestion. You can afford to be bad in class because everyone knows that you are staying after school. So have another cookie and relax.
