I piss all over the IFL every chance I get, and it definitely looks like they’re hemorrhaging cash and won’t be around much longer. But this past weekend there was a little glimmer of hope that appeared for the troubled company:
6,977 spectators were in attendance to witness the IFL’s first show in Everett, Washington. The number in attendance was the highest to watch a MMA or boxing event in Washington.
Of course, the real question is how many people actually paid? Apparently their Chicago show stunk balls and tanked pretty badly attendance wise. But is there the possibility that while Battleground isn’t burning up the ratings chart, it’s still creating fans of the IFL who are willing to check out the show when it’s in town?
