How things could have gone down

Last week at UFC Fight Night 13, two jackals pulled off a pretty impressive stunt which will live in infamy forever (or for as long as Edith Larente happens to be a ring girl). Today we pay tribute to those brave souls in comic form, and ponder what could have happened to them if things went wrong. There’s a reason not many people make fun of fighters and ring girls in person … it’s because it’s not condusive to a long and healthy life. Proof? Check out the comic.

As a resident homo jackal of FL… I feel obligatd to say that the guys were much better looking in real life than as portrayed in the comic. Wtf happened to their faces? Very funny though.

I think Jake can draw exactly 3 faces. 2 male, 1 female. Think of it like a sketch (no pun) comedy show where everyone will have to be portrayed by the same 3 or 4 actors.

    LOL @ Atom.

You guys must think Jake is a damn theme park caricature artist! I dig it. Who cares if they look like 2 generic dudes. At least they weren’t fat slobs repping the site.

  • Basically when you lock yourself into a style of drawing, you gotta work within that style even if you can’t really recreate people who don’t really have many identifying features. It’s much easier when you’re just drawing ‘fat guy’ or ‘pizza face’ or whatever else. Not so easy when it’s people without many characteristics

  • that being said, I think it’s a pretty good representation :-)

The guy with the jacket looks like Tommy from the Night of the Living Dead remake: http://www.imdb.com/media/rm3213991680/nm0124834
