FYI, Bellator Season 7 is happening too

Bellator Fighting Championships is back for their seventh season, kicking off at Bellator 74 last week with the welterweight semifinals, where former champion Lyman Good, DREAM “champ” Marius Zaromskis, and undefeated Andrey Koreshkov all pulled off fairly entertaining unanimous decisions, while Michail Tsarev scored his 11th finish in a row.

While most fans are watching “Browne vs Bigfoot” this Friday, Bellator will forge ahead with the heavyweight quarterfinals, but hey, that’s what DVR’s are for, amirite?.  Eric Prindle finally rematches Thiago Santos in the main event, while Brett “Shut Up Bitch” Rogers faces M-1 veteran Alexander “Nikolai” Volkov (currently on a 7-fight win streak), Season 4’s inverted-triangle-chokester Richard Hale jumps up to doughyweight to take on TUF 10 also-ran Mike Wessel, and Vinicius Queiroz returns from his steroid bust at UFC 120 to whup on Season 5 KTFO victim Mark Holata.  Don’t forget, the winner of this tourney will presumably become the new champion, since the former king Cole Konrad recently retired to pursue his goldmine of moob milk.
