FOX will actually be promoting the UFC!

Now this is what I call promotional support:

The UFC will makes its official FOX debut on Oct. 30.

That’s when the UFC’s new network-television partner airs “UFC Primetime,” a one-hour special that previews the organization’s first UFC on FOX event, which is set for Nov. 12.

The special airs either immediately before or after the NFL on FOX game assigned to your given market that day.

So basically FOX is tacking a one hour infomercial for the UFC’s debut show onto a football game. I don’t know how they could push ultimate fighting more, past firing Terry Bradshaw out of a UFC-sponsored cannon or having a naked Jay Glazer with sparklers pop up in the corner of your screen with “UFC” painted onto his hairy chest.

no one watches tv before football games. especially on the west coast (8 am) this only helps if it comes on after

  • CAP says:

Doubt the ratings will be that great. There is football on all day long. But at least the football fans will be made aware of it and that should be good enough.

Lame ass sports fans will watch anything sports related. I imagine a lot of eyes on this thing.
