I would like to know every-bodies thoughts on fighlinker.com at the moment. I have loved this website for a long time but the past few months i have fallen out of love. It just doesn't seem what it used to be. Is it me? Is it fightlinker.com? I'm not sure. It seems sad when i visit fightlinker almost as little as I'm visiting sherdog. I'm losing interest and seeing other websites. Every time i come on here it seems like its a props to bloodyelbow, allelbows, or another website, or member. It seems like this place is dying. I remember a time when this place had fucking balls. Now its a shriveled pair of nuts holding powder for semen afraid to fuck the old ladies arm pit and shoot it in her eye.
Please discuss.
I'll give my thoughts on the main blog. I think there are too many opinion posts and not enough humor. I mean, some opinion posts are fine, but I swear some of the posts lately don't even relate to actual news; it's just somebody's opinion. And I don't really care. Nothing personal against the writers here (honest). It's just reading someone's opinion about something isn't all that important to me, especially if there's nothing making it different from the opinions being posted by all the other bloggers (which I don't read). This is the only MMA site that I visit that's not a "just the facts" news source. And that's because dudes here can sometimes be brilliantly funny. But lately I get more laughs from the other commenters than the main blog.
probably the best thing i like about fl is the radio shows. i listen to all of the shows on the way to class. other than that fl has gone down a little but it is hard to be entertaining when mma as a whole has been drying up
Yeah, Ryan and Jake have been inconsistent, but that's a given for home bloggers. It seems like the blog is gonna be left behind because they haven't even gotten to the point where they've been able to keep one venture going non-stop before expanding into other ventures. Any time MMA hit a dryspell in the past they dried-out instead of using the time to do creative posts or content, but now with other shit and a webisode or whatever in the works its gonna get worse on the blog side.
As much as I've loved it and partaken often, weekly "Happy Hours" might not be helping maintain mutli-dimensional small-biz productivity either. But everyone's different.
But those minor things said, I have generally liked the site recently thanks to Zilla, Subo and Clint. If Clint posted more than videos I'd probably be complete as a person. But I know he's got other readers in his life, and I just need to accept that.
Additionally Ryan has been much more active lately and doing great work. And I'm generally very happy with the site as it is nowadays and don't expect the world of them. But when they rock its hard not to want more.
