We take an axe to last weekend's Strikeforce card, tearing it apart from ass to nose. What's wrong with Strikeforce, what's wrong with HDNet, what's wrong with Bas Rutten, what's wrong with Kim fucking Couture. Every aspect of the show gets pulled apart and analyzed under a microscope of hate. Also, we discuss on the Fitch / AKA drama that happened last week. You memmer (I think) Wrestlemania XII when they had "The Huckster" vs "The Nacho Man" refereed by Billionaire Ted (Turner). Marvel Comics actually tried suing the WWE for trademark infringement on the "Hulk" name but it was thrown out when they learned Terry Bollea owned it all.Not to mention when Hogan went to TNA in 2003 and got hit in the head by Double J with the guitar. Regarding K1 and the whole coming back from a KO:[Link]  Guys, Terry Martin has ALWAYS had a suspect chin. [Link] This was back in Terry's early UFC career when he was fighting at 205. Put any guy with KO power against him and it's night, night for Terry. I remember when Terry Martin dropped to 185 and sherdoggers were hyping him up because he won his first two fights at that weight class quickly by knockout. Then Leben knocked him out and it was all downhill from there. I think Terry should cut down to 170. He's a chubby dude and only 5'8". If he cut down the baby fat, he can make 170. He'd have even more KO power at 170, more of a reach advantage and would be less likely to get KO'd facing smaller guys.  Terry has always had a suspect chin and always gets caught when he faces a good counter striker because he leaves himself so wide open after he throws that any mid level counter striker can see that hole coming a mile away and tap that pillow chin of his with the easyness. You would of thought buy now in his mma career he would of gotten a good stand up coach manily a good boxing one who would brake him from that bad bad habbit of leaning to far in on his power shots and droping his guard hand down when he throws a power punch. In a boxing match that will get you Ko'ed brutaly 6/10 times or taged on the chin and rocked real realbad. Forget about it when your opponent is wearing 5oz gloves and you have a weak weak chin !!! Terry Martin made his pro boxing debut back in April. [Link] I can't believe that Terry Martin has a pro boxing career and he still hasn't learned defensive boxing skills. Terry did get a 1st round KO in boxing but he was probably just lucky enough to get to the other guy before he could get to him. A shame that Terry isn't doing more to realize his potential. Not saying he would be a champion or anything but a guy with his KO power would benefit a lot from a good boxing trainer if he put in the effort. Oh and losing the fat to get to 170 will help a lot too. Martin moving down to 170 would be the best move he could make becase of all the things the poster said above and he would be fucking huge and powerful at 170 he would look massive ompared to most of his opponents and that always makes for tons of advantages in a fight we have seen it time and time again when one figher is alot bigger then the other. The thing with Terry and I have thought this for awhile now myself and Jordan Breen brought it up on one of his radio shows is his wrestling is not that bad at all so he should really think about changing the way he fights totaly revamp his fighting style on being more of a wrestling ground and pound type fighter . And then only when he has to rely on his stand in a fight. If he does not change or drop down Terry will always be a gate keeper in any org his belongs to and nothing more. There is potential in my opinion with Martin he should remodle his fighting style or he should atleast try. what the hell does he have to loose this late in his mma career ? Also great show FL I agree 100% about Bass and Kenney Rice they need to fucking go there whole style is just horrible. I use to be a huge Bass fan back in the pride days look on hear he is listed as one of my favorite fighters.But lets face it he is fucking horrible any more and his mma knowledge in shit. I think 95% of the posters on hear know more about MMA fighters then he does anymore. His broadcasting game has just went to shit over the last few years sence he left pride. He seems to not want to learn anything new about mma or the fighters and his jokes are fucking lame anymore.Sure from time to time I still laugh at this jokes and all the other funny shit he says while commentating but he beates that same drum over and over again. I they don't want to fire his they should atlest make him and kenney learn about MMA and the fighters a little better you can tell neather one of them does any home work before there broadcast. And you were 100% on the $$$ about KimCouture what you said about Xtreme couture having there own little Kimbo Slice is so dam true I never thought of it that way but lets face it thats exactly what she is in womens MMA. But you're still awesome :P Roxy popped her Low Blow Cherry! You do realize this is episode 81...that's like 3 straight days of continuous audio if you played the show back to back. Kim Couture is definitely Xtreme Couture's female Kimbo Slice. For her to say she's doing this just for fun, get paid more than Roxy and probably the majority of the Strikeforce card and then to be on televised main cards is bullshit! This is a stain on MMA. Can you imagine if I don't know, Jessica Alba had a televised tennis, PGA or NASCAR match? Fucking ludicrous. It's this kind of shit that makes MMA small time compared to bigger mainstream sports. Before I was in the entertainment should take priority camp but after seeing how much the Kimbo Slice circus debacle was a black eye on the sport, I changed my tune. MMA must aim to be as legitimate as possible for the sport to go mainstream and gain respect. Even if it means keeping talented guys around who are boring/unmarketable in favor of more exciting but lesser skilled puglists engaging in sloppy third-rate kickboxing with 4 oz gloves. The goal of MMA should be to showcase the best fighters in the world and sort out who is the top dog. Just like you'll see in every other mainstream sport.  Good Show.funny and informative. oh dear god, don't listen for info! :-O Oh, my bad. :)  I'm not sure why you guys focused on the video game aspect of the contract. Isn't about likeness in any form? This means signing diminishes your worth with any other promotion ever. If the UFC ever decides Fitch is getting paid too much, they will never have to cut him, becaise he will have to take whatever they offer. He won't be able to sign withanyone else, because they won't be able to market him, since the UFC will own his likeness.Lena looked like they slipped her roofies before the fight (not that I have any experience with such things). I DO think this was somewhat of a set back for women's MMA in so much as we do not get that much televised women's MMA, so what we do get represents a larger percentage. By comparison, two guys with 0-1 records would probably never even get televised. But if it did, and it sucked, it would be one of many fights. When you get the occasional women's match in a non-women's card, each fight represents "women's MMA" to a much larger extent in the eyes of many viewers. This must suck for your Roxy, unless there were some way you could parlay this into an opportunity to "show the world what real women's MMA is all about". I think you should start calling out Kim Couture just like Kenny called out BJ, (except, you know, Kim is no BJ). On the other hand, its a little like Tito calling out Kimbo in that it reaks of desperation.
