Just in case you were worried that Dana White was running out of people to hate, Matt Lindland has decided he's gonna start kicking up some dirt and he's dragging a whole slew of people into the mess with him. A new documentary is on it's way out called Fighting Politics, and it's not about the politics of Matt during the Olympics or the politics of Matt during his political run. It's about how the UFC ditched him back in the day and how Dana White is an asshole. The trailer is pretty interesting and is full of all sorts of MMA journalists Dana doesn't like, such as Loretta Hunt, Josh Gross, and Jeff Sherwood. Kevin Iole also makes an appearance, but he's shown claiming he doesn't know why Lindland was kicked out of the UFC. Mmm-hmmm. I gotta say, it's pretty amusing to see the feuds between Dana and the press resulting in a feature film presentation. How can it take 93 minutes to say, "They fired me because they thought I was boring" and for a few bloggers to say, "Yep, that's what happened."???  He would never in a million years be the #1 middleweight in the UFC. Top 10, sure. Top 5, maybe/maybe not...  Silva would ass rape him and i bet bisping would beat him now.  Cote would totally break his own leg against him.  Screw the fact that he's dull and old. After hearing his political views, I'm surprised he can walk upright.  Matt Lindland is such a fucking crybaby. Please, hes not even in the top 10. He lloked like shit at the affliction show and was fighting against a nobody. Get over it.  i want to watch this video. I was at a wrestling camp in nebraska when lindland was training for the olympics and after that day watching the way he trained and the shit he could do i gained a lot of respect for him.i wish he was in the ufc, i think he could have a chance of beating everybody except for silva  Lindland has got a lot of time on his hands. It is SO HARD to actually like Lindland. Just looking at him makes me dislike him! PLUS: 1. He doesn't shower FOR DAYS before any competition to make his opponent uncomfortable, to say the least. (A known wrestling tactic, yes, but the only one in MMA legendary for continuing the disgusting strategy.) 2. He always bitches and moans when he loses. I have YET to see him take a loss gracefully without excuse after excuse. 3. HE FUCKING BIT HIS OPPONENT IN THE OLYMPIC TRIALS! (We've been over it here before, but just google it.) 4. After biting said ear, he goes to court to beat the DQ!! (Accept your failures and mistakes like a man! 5. Many argue the other way, but, personally, I have never found his fighting exciting! (A lot of DOUCHE MMA hardcores use Lindland as a barometer is you know your MMA or not, idiots.) 6. He knocked HIMSELF OUT on a takedown/slam! (Okay, Kerr did it too, but it was Mark's first pudgy fight back after battling addictions.) 7. People still often rank him high in the MW division by his UFC performances YEARS AGO!! (Yeah, because beating guys like Baroni, Fryklund, a broken Miletich, Doerksen, Vitale, and Lutter IS SO SPECIAL!! Who has he beat that makes people think he is so great?) 8. Most people that still rank him high in the MW division do so almost completely based on his "good showing" against Rampage.... 9. Him and Chael Sonnen have been madly in love and enjoy their wrestling-themed humpings for years! 10. He looked like COMPLETE SHIT, gassing out in the first round, against Nascimento, a 8-4 fighter that loses every time you put him against any decent fighter. 11. DOUCHETACULAR I will DOWNLOAD his documentary when it comes out, out of sheer curiosity. I just laugh when people think that he is SO GREAT! Sure, Dana/Zuffa MAY HAVE found an out for getting him away from the UFC before he dethroned their money-makers, but it could have also been because he is/was obnoxious, not a popular fighter, and BORING to watch! "Lindland has got a lot of time on his hands. "Lol. Matt really needs to grow up and get over it. He's like a psycho ex-girlfriend or something. He should have called his movie fatal attraction 3.  watch the Matt Lindland documentary?"I certainly wouldn't do that."  I am so glad most people on FL feel the same way about Lindland as I do becasue if there is one fighter I hate its Lindland. This shit with the UFC remeinds me of Scorned lover who trys every revenge tactic in the book to get back at the person who dumped them and just won't let it go or ever get over it.How fucking long now have we had to hear him go on and on about the UFC letting him go and how evil they are. It comes up on every dam interview he does on Sherdog and MMA weekly radio just to name a few. Its been fucking YEARS now we have been hearing the same old shit. Every thing GonzoDamon said above is 100% on the fucking money when it comes to Lindland and his scum bag shit and tactics he uses. I could of not made a better list myself. The bottom line its just sad that Lindland has never gotten over Dana droping him and just continues to bring this topic up time after time. Remember this funny shit I think it was last year around this time when Lindland keep telling every one he talked to and all interviews he did that when him and Dana ran into each other at some restraunt that they talked about Matt coming back to the UFC and that he expected to be back real real soon only the little shit had to be worked out for his UFC contract.He was telling every one this shit inside the MMA.his interview at sport fight, Sheerdog radio,MMA weekly radio,etc Then when Dana was asked he said he knew nothing about this talk and Matt was not coming back what so ever.It made Matt look like a total asshole in the MMA community and a bullshiter. I think thats why Matt is so pissed now more then ever when it comes to the UFC and Dana White. If thats the case Well Matt thats your own fault for running off at the mouth like you did. And then after to put a cherry on top of it all Lindland comes out and looks like utter shit against Fabio Nascimento. Nice way to show Dana Matt he should of taken you back ass hole sure you are the one to beat Anderson Silva- I love when he says that. Another thing over the years one thing that has always made me laugh my ass off other then Lindlnd coming up with the worst reasons why he lost a fight was the people who Ranked him in the top 3 of MW's.Shit alot of people and websites had him at #1 and why who did Lindland beat warrant that ranking Travis Lutter ,Phil Baroni,Joe Doerksen, and a aging over the hill Pat Miletich ?My God Just go look at his record I don't know how people ranked him so dam high.even today people have him in there top 5 MW's-UN fucking real- Talk about over hype in a fighter its Matt Lindland 4 sure. It's only at the film festival part of it's life, meaning it'll float around for 3 months - 9 months while they shop for a buyer and then another who knows how long if it gets picked up by a studio. Or if no one has any interest, then maybe it'll get a small release in 6 monthsThey better watch out, though. this AKA thing has already eclipsed Lindland's situation. Re: if lindland is any good, it's hard to say now where he stands because he spent all that time fucking around at LHW and HW but back when he got the boot he was basically #2 and everyone thought he could beat Franklin. Me? I'm doubtful but what's the point imagining the possible end to fights that never happened?
