  Chael Sonnen gave an interview to GracieMag right before his fight with Paulo Filho and no one noticed that it had some pretty interesting information in it. Fortunately, jackals never miss anything and Deze Nuts sent me a link to the story:You are one of the best fighters in the WEC. Are you thinking of heading to the UFC? This interview was given on the day of the fights, so Filho had already flunked his weigh-in and the WEC title had been taken off the table. Is it possible that the UFC decided to make up for the situation by offering Sonnen a shot at Anderson Silva if he beat Paulo Filho? It seems fair considering Filho's place not just in the WEC but in everyone's overall middleweight rankings. Still, all this was before Filho and Sonnen had a fight that was so bad it qualifies for a Worstie nomination. Sure, you can largely blame Filho for the situation but it's not like Sonnen did much to help carry the bout. Hell, if I had an offer to fight for the UFC middleweight title, I'd have stepped back and allowed Filho's mental breakdown to win me a unanimous decision too. So now the question is if Sonnen really will get that shot. Dana has said that Anderson Silva wants to get back into the ring as quickly as possible. Did Dana dangle that fight in front of Chael Sonnen? Props for the heads up on this one Deze Nutz!  Silva By What Ever He Wants...On a side note: Station Casinos Report a Net Loss of 23.4 Million in 3rd Quarter  I really really hope this was Sonnen talking bullshit and there is no truth behind these claims. Why the hell would the UFC want to match up Silva against Sonnen who isnot even top 20 MW ? I pray this fight does not happen Sonnen will not be able to get buy most of the MW's in the UFC let alone Silva. Just look at his record Sonnen has made a career of beating up cans and low level fighters the only goos win besides this Filho won is he beat Jason Miller buy a decision where he just laid on him for 3 rounds and it was Millers 3rd fight ever. every time he fights a good fighter he gets beat pretty dam easy and dominated. He was horrible horrible stand up no sub defense what so ever. Please Joe Silva don't even think about making this fight happen. Honestly who in the hell wants to see this? The funny thing is how much better Sonnens record would be if he would have stopped fighting Jeremy Horn, what is he 0-3 against him? I say Sonnen would get tapped in the first round, he acts like his sub defense is awesome by the way he fights, he carelessly shoots on submission fighters all the time, but he is just going on pure wrestling nothing else.  What's up with Okami? How long is he expected to be sidelined with his injury?  Isn't Sonnen the guy who doesn't like training jiu-jitsu because he doesn't like lying on his back and with his legs around another man? [Link] Oh my, I do believe he is. That's why every time he fights a good fighter or steps up in competition he gets beat buy the most basic subs that others can see coming from a mile away. Sonnen will get cut from the UFC again mark my words I don't see him beating any top or even mid level MW's in the UFC. He made is name and padded his record and I hate to bad mouth him but its true just look at his record from fighting young up coming fighters who are still green to the MMA game and cans in small and mid level shows. I really can't even see him playing a gate keeper role in the UFC's MW devision ???  Anderson Silva will simultaneously submit and KO him while playing a game of Dance, Dance Revolution and brewing a perfect cup of espresso... You watch - I called first... What's with that rib thing sticking out on Chael? It was very noticeable during the fight.  Fuck him! Fuck and his ugly retarded asian girlfriend, he isnt even a top teir fighter, Okami is next and he will get the shot vs Silva. C.Shoonen isnt even on the skill of any good MW. He sounds like a retard whos in MMA for kicks and not have the dedication taht most fighters has. Feel my hate, fuck him and fuck you too! So i take it you're not interested in seeing that fight?
