Every UFC, Dana White runs around with a new set of interesting talking points. The first time you hear them, they're awesome. Then you hear him say the same thing a second time, word for word. And again and again and again. Suddenly the guy who seemed so off the cuff and spontaneous with his 'for real' answers starts to appear a bit more like a politician staying 'on point'.

Dana's talking point of the day? That Quinton's rampage probably didn't cause no damn miscarriage because he barely knocked the side view mirror off that chick's vehicle. Well, here's a picture of the vehicle, and it looks like he did a bit more than that. I don't know shit about cars so I can't really say how much force was needed to do that to the door of the car (and is it just me or does the rear look smashed as well?), but it certainly looks like more than just a little bump to me.

Props to jackal ChinBo for the link to the picture!

Yeah, the back of the vehicle is definitely fucked up. A lot.

Shit. Now that I look at it again, the panel in front of the rear tire got fucked up, too. That's a ton of force to shift that back tire enough to cause damage there.

The lesson to be taken from this picture is that monster trucks are bad for the health of your vehicle. Even if you're driving a damn Escalade.

Didn't even notice at first, but back window is blown out

I've been in a low speed collision before. That's a typical side swipe at low speed. At 25 mph, any collision between two cars would cause that kind of damage.

I'm a little skeptical that a collision like that could cause a miscarriage two weeks later. But I guess anything is possible. Can they prove it in court?

I wanted so badly to believe that this was way overblown & Rampage is still sane & free off court drama. But that is definitely way more damage than "The Dana" alluded to. As far as causing a miscarriage, a developing fetus is essentially in a vault & it would have had to be a serious collision causing her some injuries to legitimately pose a risk to the baby. With that said, I'm going on an energy drink fast until tomorrow night. Gotta be in perfect physical & mental health . . .

doesnt really look like a major impact tbh, looks like what it was described as, got side swiped, seriously doubt that could cause a miscarriage

Judging by the damage on the Escalade, Rampage's truck probably hit the left of the rear bumper, and then kept on going, bending the side panels and smashing the driver's side mirror on the way. In my opinion it didn't take that much force to damage the woman's truck that much. Just look at the pictures of Rampage's truck, it's so huge and massive, the front bumper of rampage's truck is as high as the rear window of the ladie's truck. It doesn't take a lot of force for a front bumper that big to do that much damage to a flimsy side panel.

Here is a picture that illustrates how massive his truck is. Rampage is standing next to the front of the truck and the hood is as high as his head! (the man is 6'1)

Of course that sideswipe could have caused a miscarriage, but I would wait for some proof first.

Honestly, that's nothing. It's comical that this woman thinks she'll get any money from Rampage. There's a reason abortion is an issue of hot debate world-wide--that's a grey area. No judge is going to set that precedent.

My brother has been in several accidents since turning 16, 5 of them under 30 miles an hour. His car almost always looked worse than that vehicle does. This is very anectodotal, but that sort of damage is not from a jarring accident--at least, from what I've seen.

actually the dent in the door is nothing, I've seen my friend trip and fall into the side of his car and do that much damage with his shoulder, most new cars have pannels designed to "buckle" with almost no force since they say it's safer then having a rigid shell.
Billytk
oh and for the rear window beint "blown out" if it even had a small crack in it they would have knocked it out after to prvent it from accidentally shattering so the accident probabaly had very little to do with that

The stress of being in an accident could be a big problem for a expecting mother.

Once again I gotta say that I am a Personal Injury attorney and severe injuries can happen at any speeds, simply depends on the people and forces involved. Really we shouldnt look at this photo and try to determine if this impact caused the miscarriage or not.

What we have to understand is that there will be medical evidence presented by both sides. It has nothing to do with abortions. A woman lost her unborn child and she suffered severe emotional distress because of it. I am not saying it was Rampage's fault or even that she is telling the truth, what I am saying is that she may be telling the truth and it is not Dana's job to downplay such a serious situation, because things that he says will have no bearing on the Civil case.

Oh as for the guy above me that said his friend has tripped and fallen into his car and caused more damage than that ... bro come on, pics or GTFO.

Sounds like a jackass stunt gone wrong :-p
Echolocating
Miscarriages are unfortunate, but pretty common. The judge would have to be pretty ballsy to set a precedent of emotional damage causing a miscarriage. If the physical damage can be proven, then without a doubt the woman should be compensated. Judges typically don't see emotional fragility as a free ticket to cash in. Then again... things might be different in Canada.

I used to be the least liked poster on this site, but now theres a lawyer to take the heat off of me. Thanks, dude! :)

The whole thing is going to come back to her age. If she was 28 this could be a slam dunk lawsuit for her, but everybody in the world knows having a baby past 35 is incredibly risky and that reasonable doubt will make the difference since the damage is far from impressive. By all accounts this was a 45 mph sideswipe, right? I had one years ago when someone didn't yield. It startled the fuck out of me early in the morning, ruined both of my passenger side doors and was a pain in the ass having to deal with insurance companies to pay to get fixed. Other than that I barely remember it. It was also in a car and not a ultra-sturdy SUV. Isn't that the whole point of buying an SUV besides having a small cock, the extra body safety?
i'll caress ya ballze softly and
Whether or not Rampage caused her to miscarriage, Dana's comment about him merely "knocking her mirror off" was complete booleshitt.
Shocbomb
The odds are Its not even going to go to court ? Rampge will end up settling for a unclosed amonnt of $$$ ? DAM Now after seeing the car I am pretty surprised to hear Dana and half of the posters on Sherdog talk you would of thought Rampages car barely hit hers. But after seeing how bad the back end is smashed in it was a pretty hard hit. It takes a hell of alot of force to smash in the back of escalade like that. I don't know who rampe's attorney is but he should of told his client to stay out of the public eye It does not look to good for Rampage to be seen joking around at a UFC press coference.
Alextastic!

Dana didn't mean he LITERALLY only took her mirror off. He was saying he barely touched the fuckin' thing - which looking at the damage, I'm inclined to believe.

You have to remember that these panels are SUPPOSED to crumple like that in an accident. It's a safety feature. It looks really dramatic, but in all likelihood the bitch probably didn't notice she'd been hit.

If you want to argue that the stress of the incident INDIRECTLY caused the miscarriage, then fine. The actual accident did not, however, cause any injury to anyone

I thought that no legal action has been made yet. Did I miss something. Either way, Dana and anyone else who is calling this family money grubbing is a piece of shit.

I always liked Rampage as a fighter, but no matter how you slice he fucked up big time here.

Come on, this is Dana we're talking about. Did you really expect him to be classy? His idea of classy is probably adding a "please" to "go fuck yourself". We all should have expected him to come out pissed off and defending his investment since the lawsuit really looks like it could go in Rampage's favor. He's white trash through and through and no amount of money will change that. I seriously think his household is probably like an episode of Married With Children taking place in a Las Vegas mansion. Before this thing gets any uglier they should allow Lorenzo to take the PR of this on before Dana pulls out a shoebox in front of cameras and says "Look, we bought her fuckin' baby a casket!"
