Fedor’s management is picky

I respect Fedor a lot, and I’m sure he’s got a warrior’s spirit where he’ll fight whoever is put in front of him. But one thing that certainly takes away from that fact is that Fedor’s management sure do their best to make sure the only people put in front of him are easy   to defeat. Here’s an interview with Antonio Bigfoot Silva regarding Fedor:

Silva On Rumors That Fedor Emelianenko “Ran” From Him:

No, I think this word does not fit a champion like Fedor, because he has fought the best in the business. But there was an offer after my 2 victories in Japan for us to fight in BodogFight, but he did not accept, and right after they matched him with Lindland.

I’d be less inclined to believe stuff like this if we didn’t hear a variation of this story every other week regarding another fighter that Fedor’s management team didn’t want him to fight. I’m not saying that repetition makes things true, but when you’re hearing the same story from a bunch of different sources….

At this point I’m pretty convinced that Fedor’s management always has a huge say in who Fedor fights. They don’t just take the paycheck and say “Whoever the promoter decides, we’ll fight.” Which is kinda balls. SWEATY BALLS.

  • Jersey Tomato says:

I too thought I had a deal to fight Fedor but it appears the big Russian sissy is ducking me again. The word is he would rather fight a 7 foot tall Korean freak than go toe-to-toe with yours truly.

Yo, Fedor: Don’t make me travel to St. Petersburg to deliver my challenge in person!! I know where you train and I don’t want to embarrass you in front of your homies. If you are afraid of me, just say so!

    p.s. Love the gay shirt!

  • karat3 says:

Yea and randy turned down a 3million$ offer to fight fedor in bodog when he wasn’t under ufc contract. Yet I see no one bashing him.

  • kentyman says:

Yeah, but Randy doesn’t wear linen shirts like a medieval peasant.

  • Jeremy (not that Jeremy) says:

Randy also doesn’t live in a nation rapidly drifting back to the middle ages.

    Oh wait, yeah he does.

  • MedievalSerf says:

“Yeah, but Randy doesn’t wear linen shirts like a medieval peasant.”

That made me wheeze with laughter.

  • uhuh says:

Yeah, you’re right. The freak definitely posed a bigger challenge to Fedor than an olympic silver medalist/ ACC champion.

  • Nachtfalter says:

At least “The freak” would have been in the same weight class as Fedor…

  • michael says:

All those fighters probably try to build their names on Fedor…
Who was A.Silva back then??? Someone with 6-0 record including the victory over Ruben Villareal?? Wow, Fedor was ducking him for sure.

  • LR says:

To be accurate, Silva used to loom at around 300 lbs. He’s since been down to 265, which he looks much more impressive at in his recent fight. I’ve even heard rumors of Silva hitting 330. I wonder if that was a possibile reason, that’s nearly 75-100 pounds more than Fedor’s fighting weight.

  • steve24 says:

Fedor’s management will be the death of his career.

  • jjdnb says:

Big Foot vs Fedor??? Come one people. Fedor is a world champ that has beaten some of the worlds best fighters. Big Foot is a goofy looking newb fighter. Why would Fedor want to fight him?
Get a few wins over some good competition and then ask for Fedor.
I’d of laughed in Silvas face if i was Fedors manager.

  • jjdnb says:

    ****come on****

  • Matt (tapout name shitstain) says:

Fedor fought fucking Zuluzino or whatever that fat fucks name is. Don’t act like he’s above fighting anyone.

  • The Truth says:

    jjdnb = LOSER

Who the fuck talks shit about a fighter by calling them a “newb”??? You obviously have never been laid before.

Silva is a beast and has been around for a while…just because your dumb fuck ass has no clue who he is, doesn’t mean he couldn’t take on Fedor. He would fair far better than the 7’2 Korean dude Choi

  • Ted Dibiase says:

im sure the japanese fans wanted to see zulozhino get mollywopped by fedor. why the hell would he fight a chump in bodog? oh, i got 5 amateur fights, i want fedor next! dumbasses.

why wouldnt fedor’s management try to pick n choose his opponents anyways? they want money and a fighter with a near perfect record over top competition is what makes money.

this shit isnt about making fightlinker think they got balls. its about making money. get real, get some common sense and get on the fedor bandwagon.
