DREAM.3 gets gooder

DREAM officials made the announcement a few days back that Jason “Mayhem” Miller would be fighting at DREAM.3, but I didn’t want to post anything about it until it was actually confirmed by Miller himself … which he has now done. He’ll be fighting Katsuyori Shibata, who’s lost his last three fight and has only ever won twice – to Yoshihisa Yamamoto (13-23) and some guy named Ice Man (0-3) who I assume is the Brazilian equivalent of Trip Shatfires. While the matchup isn’t exactly that intriguing, the cool news is that this is officially a middleweight GP fight (according to DREAM … fuck I hate having to doubt everything they say).

But wait, it gets better! Also added to the DREAM.3 card is none other than Nick Diaz, who doesn’t seem to want to wait until EliteXC’s June 14th event to fight. He’ll be taking on Katsuya Inoue, who actually seems to have some decent credentials to his name. The winner of this fight gets to face off against Hayato ‘Mach’ Sakurai for the DREAM welterweight title.

Either I’ve just been too hard on the DREAM guys or they’ve really sorted their shit out over the past few days. They even announced grand prix reserve matches, which seems awful responsible of them. So fingers crossed everything doesn’t crumble over the next week, because DREAM.3 is looking pretty shweet:
