It looks like Andrei Arlovski is putting some of the money he made off the first Affliction show to good use: he’s hired a film crew to follow him around and create a documentary type countdown show:
Andre Arlovski is taking his cue from HBO’s “24/7.” The heavyweight has hired a camera crew to follow him around before and after his WAMMA title fight against Fedor Emelianenko at Affliction’s “Day of Reckoning” on Jan. 24 in Anaheim, Calif.
The resulting web series, titled “Arlovski 360: The Road to Reckoning,” will go behind the scenes to profile Arlovski’s life in and out of the ring.
The show debuts Dec. 19 on Arlovski’s new website, www.arlovski.com, and runs for seven weeks. New episodes will air every Friday, and will be distributed to video websites like YouTube the following day.
I hope the Pitbull isn’t spending too much money on for this. Things are looking so negative for Affliction that a bunch of us MMA bloggers have a pool going for when their second event’s plug gets pulled. I’m betting it happens between the 19th and 22nd. That’s right in time for Andrei’s first video!
