From Five Ounces:
Former UFC lightweight competitor Din Thomas has inked a three fight contract with Affliction.
Thomas, a veteran from the fourth season of The Ultimate Fighter, is 23-8 in a pro career that dates back to 1998. The American Top Team-trained fighter holds notable wins in his career over Dokojonosuke Mishima, Jens Pulver, Matt Serra, and Clay Guida.
No longer a regular competitor at 155 pounds, Thomas is expected to join an Affliction featherweight division that includes L.C. Davis, Bao Quach, Mark Hominick, Deividas Taurosevicius, and Savant Young.
Good for Din, but signing a three fight deal with Affliction is like approving a terminally ill cancer patient for a thirty year mortgage.
