The idea of an explosive black man kicking a deaf guy in the face sounds like the description of a hilarious yet family friendly YouTube video. In this case it’s the recipe for a featured fight at December’s TUF 10 Finale show on SpikeTV. From MMAWeekly:
Light heavyweight prospects Jon Jones and Matt Hamill are expected to do battle at the Season 10 finale of “The Ultimate Fighter.” Though bout agreements have not been signed, both parties have agreed to the fight and are expected to finalize the fight soon.
Joe Silva strikes again by booking yet another solid match-up. Jon Jones is not only one of the hottest prospects in the light heavyweight division but one of the top prospects in all of mixed martial arts. Hamill, despite his TKO stoppage at the hands of Rich Franklin and his controversial loss to Michael Bisping, is still one of the UFC’s most promising young fighters. Both men entered the MMA world with wrestling backgrounds but have each shown steady progress in the stand-up game. Jones was able to land his brand of unorthodox strikes on a former Golden Gloves winner in Stephan Bonnar while Hamill is coming off a highlight reel stoppage of Mark Munoz, who likely needed help chewing his food after that fight.
The winner of this one will no doubt achieve contender status in the talent-rich light heavyweight division. If that wasn’t enough incentive for these two to bring their A-game, the TUF 10 Finale will likely be seen by an enormous audience as the show itself will get the “Kimbo rub,” which I suggest you ask for the next time you find yourself in a massage parlor. Not that I would know anything about that since I’m saving myself for Emma Watson. (She’s 19 now so it’s totally not creepy. Seriously. Stop looking at me like that.)
