Well … it lasted longer than the Tim Sylvia fight. Andrei Arlovski showed off his new boxing skills, keeping Fedor at bay during the first few minutes of the fight and looked very dangerous. He had Fedor retreating and shoved him backwards with a front kick when he lost … he was in the middle of throwing the same flying knee he’s used in his last two fights and ended up jumping right into a brutal KO punch from Fedor that dropped him on his face.
And with that, the fight was over at 3:14 of round 1. Winner by knockout: Fedor. Amazing. But props to Arlovski … he almost made the Last Emperor look mortal for a few seconds there.
